The author does a good job of making the title appropriate with the story line. The story "Never Go Shopping Hungry" shows the parallel of putting junk food in your grocery cart because of hunger and people who pick the wrong man/woman because they are lonely. Both are not satisfying but only satisfy the void.

MaRed is back on the scene again with some no holds barred, tell it like it is advice. This is the second book in the Ten Commandments of Love series. The stories kept me highly entertained. These stories remind me of those times when one could always count on someone in the neighborhood or family to dispense good advice. MaRed is outspoken and does not bite her tongue. Her words might sound harsh at times, but they're always said in love and concern for the person she is addressing at the time. These stories are so real and I was easily taken away into a world that I could see clearly. The characters are ordinary people who mess up in life and make mistakes. Yet, MaRed is always somewhere nearby to help them get back on the right track.
I really enjoy the short stories in this collection. Kudos to the author, Eve Alexander.
